December

Wow! I made it to my December recap just in the knick of time. 2012 has been a a heck of a ride. We started the year off with the loss of our dear sweet Winnie, I hosted a "fancy" tea party for 18 little girls for Emma's fifth birthday, Tyler had two great baseball seasons both of which were coached by Marshall, Emma started Kindergarten, I went back to work as an editor/writer for an online education company, we went on some great trips, we were devastated by the loss of  Bill Valenzuela, Hudson Harry Strohl was born, we traded in the Volvo and I got a new Buick Enclave, we laughed, we cried, we sang, we danced, but most of all at the end of each day we hugged and kissed and told each other how much we all love each other. I am blessed beyond words to have such a crazy, busy, chaotic life and I wouldn't change a thing!
Here are a few pictures from December.
Elvis was a silly elf this year. I think we had more fun with him this year than ever before. I am also proud to say he never "forgot" to land in a new spot the whole time he was here!
Hudson Harry Strohl 12/20/12 8lbs 9oz. I sure can't wait to kiss that sweet face!
Our dear friend, Celesa Felix, took our family pictures this year. I love the setting and those two cute kiddos!

Christmas was a quiet one this year. It was just the four of us but it was still a wonderful holiday. I love Christmas and I from the looks on the kid's faces in these pictures they do too!
Santa presents.

The aftermath!

November

November just flew by! This year we did a little "stay-cation" here in Tucson for Thanksgiving. It was a fantastic day spent playing at the pool, sliding down a water slide, and floating down the lazy river. We had a wonderful meal but the fun ended quite abruptly at 4am Friday morning when Tyler woke up with a horrible stomach flu. He was kind enough to share it with his sister and Marshall. To top off the craziness of the month my washing machine broke. The silver lining there was that I got an awesome new washer and dryer for Christmas;)
Here are a few pictures from the month.
Looking so grown up trying on their family picture outfits.
This is how Daddy and Tyler watch UA games...

and this is how Emma watches.

My pretty girl.

The highlight of this November was my trip to Missouri for Nancy's baby shower. Here are a few pictures from the beautiful day.

Tyler did his first chapter book book project. He made a mobile--ALL by himself. I was so proud of him.

October

October in Arizona is still pretty warm but we still do all the fun fall activities! Check out some pictures of our fall fun.

Fall ball continued.
Emma and I went to Disney on Ice.
Our little girl lost her first tooth!
We went to the Science museum in Phoenix.  It was AMAZING! We spent about 5 hrs in there and can't wait to go back!!

We went to the Pumpkin Patch--it was HOT but fun!

Tyler was a Navy Seal this year and Emma was Princess Ariel.

Neighborhood trick-or-treaters.
