August

August brought a surprise visit from Aunt Katie and Amy, the first day of Kindergarten and Second grade, and one last trip over to CA to put our toes in the water and you know whats in the sand!

So handsome and pretty on that first day!

Tyler has been asking to have his picture taken on railroad tracks since we got back from Mo. These were in Carlsbad.

School picture day 2012.

July

July is when we go to Newport Beach every summer. It is always a wonderful time and we get to spend time with Aunt Marie and Uncle Bill and Aunt Corinne, Uncle Dave, Mason and Ethan. Our trip this year was cut short though because we came home to help lay to rest one of those most wonderful, kind, inspiring, and amazing men any of us have ever known. Our dear friend, Bill Valenzuela passed away. He will always be in our hearts and not a day goes by that we don't think about him.
Here are some pictures from CA. The kids LOVE each other and each year I leave there so sad that we don't live closer so these kiddos could spend more time together.

The gang hanging by the pool (missing Aunt Marie, Uncle Bill, Uncle Jake, and Danielle though)

Rest time with electronics.

Flying high

Riding without mom cause she is too scared!

Emma got her ears pierced--it was quite an experience!

The kids discovered how much they LOVE boogie boards.

Great time at the aquarium in Phoenix

June

The highlight of June was our trip back to Missouri. There really are not exclamation points to explain the amount of fun we had. We were there for two weeks and it was just not enough time. The kids had so much fun and they got to know Pop a whole better. The pictures are out of order but they are some of the highlights of the bestest June ever!

Small recoil accident when he went shooting with Uncle Matt. He not only learned about shooting a gun but he also had a lesson about "guy code".

Amos--half dog half pony.

Feeding the fish with Uncle Randy.

These were all from "movie night" at Aunt Katie's house.  They LOVED it.

Precious Moments with Nana and Aunt Katie.

The creek--fishing, swimming, kayaking, and hanging with Pop.

Silver Dollar City---I think we had more fun here than we did at Disney! No lines so we rode everything multiple times=)

Our visit with Gabe Thomas. Those boys are getting too big for that chair=)

Uncle Matt really is the best.
