Tyler and Emma's Birthday Carnival

I decided to do a combined birthday party this year. We have way more boys around us so instead of doing another boy princess party for Emma like we did last year, we all agreed that a carnival theme party would be great for one and all!
I hate to admit this but we were so busy doing the party that we really didn't get all that many pictures.
Even without tons of photographic evidence I am pretty sure that the kids will remember this party for a very long time. They had an absolute blast!
Here are a few highlights of the day's festivities.
Each box contained a box of animal crackers. The kids then used the box to store their carnival prizes. They also used it to hold their candy from the pinata.
The ice creme cone cupcakes were a BIG hit!
We had a jumping castle, five different carnival games (with prizes awarded=) and a popcorn machine.
Even with all of that fun and excitement the kids still had time to play golf, love on Winnie, and manage to drag out every single toy we own!
I heard two different children at two different times say, "Mom, THAT was an AWESOME party!" Even though it was crazy, totally chaotic and unbelievably messy it was all worth it because Tyler and Emma made memories that will last a lifetime. Oh yeah...and they think their mom ROCKS!!!!!!

So great - I loved all the ideas - I may have to take some of them - or have you come here and do my parties!! :) We are getting ready for Maelynn's on the 25 - we rented a indoor pool - she is really excited about it - it should be fun. This will be the first time we haven't had their parties at our house.
