Our funny little girl

I am not sure if there is a sweeter sound on earth right now than Emma's little voice.  It is just so darn cute.  She has so much to say and just the way she enunciates things makes us smile 100 times a day.  I promise I will get some video uploaded soon so that you can hear it for yourselves.
I just love what a girly girl she is.  She constantly wants to dance and she sings "Once Upon a Dream" from Sleeping Beauty as she is dancing with you.  She is still the queen of dress up and just clicks around here in her high heels all the time.  Yesterday, she kissed Marshall and said, "Mommy, I married Daddy!"
She really is such a cutie....check out our little Tinker Belle.

T-Ball

Tyler is still LOVING t-ball.  Even in 100+ degree heat he is out there hustling and running after every ball.  I am so proud to say that he has really done a great job.  He hasn't cried or gotten upset at all. He really is a good team player.  My heart just swells when I hear him cheering on his teammates.
I know we are going to have a long baseball road ahead of us and I am so happy that this first experience has been such a positive one for him.

Here are a few pictures from our last game.

Cringe worthy

Even though I am going against Marshall's direct order of "don't you dare put that on the blog" I just can't help it!=)  Ever take one of those pics that you just know will haunt the poor subject FOREVER?!?!  Check out the following.  I know Tyler will just die of embarrassment for having had these posted on the web...but I just can't help myself..they are too funny!=)

In defence of myself he did ask me to let him wear Sleeping Beauty's dress and he did enjoy dancing with his sister.  Now, when he sees this ten years from now I know he will deny it and think that I am a horrible mom, but I will know in my heart he was having a great time!=)

Mom, What's on my nose?

Emma came in the bathroom tonight as I was finishing getting Tyler out of the tub and was pointing to her hemangioma.  She looked at me and said, Mom, what's on my nose?"  She was two in March and just now noticed that there was something there.  Then Tyler asked, "Mom did I have one of those when I was two?"  When I told him he didn't he said he wanted one.  What a great thing that neither of them have ever really paid any attention to it and that they just embrace it as something special!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

Happy Father's Day!
I am blessed to have married a man who is not only my best friend and a wonderful husband but also a phenomenal daddy to my children.  I could not ask for a better partner on this roller coaster ride we call parenthood!

WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

Aren't they sweet?

If you try to call me and talk on the phone for any length of time you will more often than not hear my two children trying to kill each other.  I thought that I should post a few pictures to let everyone know that, YES there are times when they actually love each other!!!=)

T-Ball

Well we have officially begun our LONG journey on the road of baseball.  Tyler has started T-Ball and he is loving it.  He has practice every Tuesday and they have games on Saturday mornings.  We are just doing it through the YMCA this first season.  It is not really that well organized (that is me being kind and not wanting to sound like a nagging mom) but Tyler is having a blast and that really is all that matters!  Here are a few pics from his first game.  Last week they did play on an actual baseball diamond but I didn't bring my camera.  I will try to get some better pictures during the next few weeks.

Sesame Street Live

On Sunday we went to see Sesame Street Live.   The kids had a blast.  The show was great and Emma is still talking about the Music teacher, Jenny.  Our seats were six rows from the stage so we were right there in the middle of all the action.  If the show comes to your town I highly recommend going, it is such a fun family outing!  The best part of it though is watching your children's faces light up!=)
