"There has never been, nor will there ever be, anything quite so special as the love between a mother and a son" Author: Unknown
This quote is so very true. My little man is just such a sweet sweet boy. Now...that is not to say that he isn't a world class stinker, that he doesn't drive his sister crazy, that he isn't turning into a stinky boy, and that he doesn't try my patience to the max. But it does mean that at the end of every night that boy still kisses me on the lips, that my little boy still holds my hand walking down the hall at school in front of his friends, and that sweet boy let's me yell "Way to go Pumpkin" out loud at his baseball game in front of his team and doesn't get mad!!!
I sit here stunned that he is turning 8 today. If I try really hard I can still feel that tiny little baby in my arms. I wish there was a way to slow down time so he would just stop getting so big.
Tyler is ALL boy. He loves all sports and I bet if you went toe to toe with him about current NFL trivia he would probably win. He loves playing baseball and hit his first homerun just this month. He tried basketball for the first time this year and discovered that not only did he like it, but he is actually quite a good little hustler--he can thank his momma for his "Strohl ass" which comes in handy for guarding his opponents.
I am so proud of the young man he is turning in to. I love his good manners. I am just thrilled watching how kind he is to younger kids. And to be honest, being at the ball field watching him play is pretty much my favorite place to be!
Happy Birthday Tyler Brown. I love you more than you will ever know!

This year was Tyler's turn for a birthday party. He chose to have a flag football party in the park. Here are a few pictures from the fun afternoon!
